Our Forum Rules - Please Read!

In order to keep the new forums running well and to prevent problems, please follow these simple rules for the forums here. If you have any questions or problems, please feel free to contact one of the Staff Members.



The Rules...


1. Show respect at all times.


2. Help build the Community.


The success of the forum depends upon the quality posts of our participants.


3. Personal attacks are prohibited.


This specifically means any text/post that is blatantly attacking another person on or off the forum, especially in a personal way.


4. Private Messages


PM's received on these Forums are to be considered private and are not to be posted publicly unless the sender of the private message agrees.


5. Private Information.


Participant's shall not post messages containing personal phone numbers or addresses.


6. Bans and warnings.


Will not to be discussed on the forums. Any inquiries or comments or bans are to be sent in private messages or via email. A moderator may choose to publicly inform the participants of a forum about bans and warnings if this is in the interest of the forum.


7. Post Content.


Posting of pornography, racist or otherwise discriminating remarks, threats to cause physical or mental harm, extreme offensive language, material that breaks any law or otherwise totally unacceptable posts or links to pages that contain the aforementioned material may result in an immediate ban from the forums.


8. Censoring.


Deliberately circumventing the censor filter is prohibited. i.e NO swearing at all.




9. Avatar limitations (in pixels).


Max height: 100
Max width: 100
Max size: 200kb (in kilobytes)
and ofcourse no porn, racism, adult language in your avatar.
Anything in excess of these sizes will be removed, unless sanctioned by a Root administrator via PM first.
Must not contain FLASH animation.
Must not contain any re-directing links to other sites.

10. Signature limitations (in pixels).


Only 1 signature is allowed in your profile
Max height: 250px (about 15 lines)
Max width: 500px
Max size: 500kb (in kilobytes)
Must not contain FLASH animation.
Must not contain any re-directing links to other sites.
No porn, racism, adult language, etc in the sig.
No spoiler tags.
Most graphic programs allow resizing (even: MS Paint) so that shouldn't be a problem.
Anything in excess of these sizes will be removed, unless sanctioned by a Root administrator via PM first.


10a. Signature Banner limitations (in pixels).


Max height: 25
Max width: 360
Any links contained within Sig banners Must be approved by a Root administrator via PM before being added to your profile. A maximum of 3 sig banners are permitted per member profile.


11. Report Function.


The Forum has a report button, but this is ONLY and ONLY to report posts, avatars, signatures, that break one of the forum rules. The button is not to report your dinner, or how you like your new avatar.

12. Unsolvable problems (including bannings)


A participant has with a moderator are to be discussed with the Forum Administrator by PM, not in the forum.

13. Posting.


All Forums have a main topic. When starting a new thread, make sure you do so in the proper Forum. Please do not make consecutive posts in the same thread, use the edit function.

14. LINKS!!!


On the General forums:we do not allow links to cracks, serials, keys, keygens, warez/illegal software sites, crack search engines, ftp sites, torrents, torrent sites or magnet links. There will be no warning, you will be banned.
Any links to other forum communities or sites, MUST be approved by a Site Administrator via PM before being posted.
This includes signature and banner links.

14a. Torrent links, FTP Links and torrent requests may be posted in the relevant VIP section of the forums.


SPAM


The following are considered spam:

Very short posts that do not add value to the current discussion.
Double posts. If a member posted something and you realized they made a mistake, use the edit/delete option.
Off topic posts will be either removed or moved to the appropriate place, depending on moderator.
Posts that obviously serve no purpose other than uping one's post counts.
Posts like "XXX, I have a question for you" are considered spam. They should be done via private messaging.
Any other posts that we deem inappropriate for other readers.
Responses to spam posts will be considered spam and be removed.
Posts that contain large amounts of smileys and/or spaces to make it look like they contain useful information often don't. This is not appreciated.
